GreenPolicy360 steps up as Planet Citizens to aid the NASA/NOAA team deliver DSCOVR/EPIC data and imagery
GreenPolicy360: In a fortuitous way, we were 'In on the Mission'... We were in contact with and assisted the NASA DSCOVR project manager in the online distribution of news and educational information about the EPIC DSCOVR history, launch, and beginning of its imaging 'from a million miles away'. Our GreenPolicy360 founder-siterunner looked back at the origins of Earth Science missions of NASA/USGS/NOAA. Here's to the legislators, scientists, 'planet citizens' who first envisioned the importance of having Earth Science data to guide our decision-making policies. Today, planet citizens, planet scientists have, as a result, an Earth-system record of 'change over time'. Here's to our continuing Earth-observation and monitoring in keeping with the original NASA Mission Statement -- “To understand and protect our home planet..."
