The science begins by looking at and experiencing the home planet -- a careful appreciation of earth, the "blue planet"

@ GreenPolicy360, our space science/physics focus is on being 'front-of-mind', creating and developing the field of environmental security via the 'democratization of space'.

"New Space" is in its first stages and it's an exciting time to be a Planet Citizen and sharing citizen science with a focus from space on #Earth360...

Fleets of micro-satellites and start-up companies pioneering the exploration and study of earth and earth's resources from the vantage point of space offer critically important data.

Unprecedented digital connectivity, networking and availability of data via World Wide Net/Internet make possible nextgen #EarthScience from space.

The SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a Digital Library portal for researchers in Astronomy and Physics, operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) under a NASA grant.

The ADS corpus consists of 10 million bibliographic records, over 70 million citations, and 3.6 million full-text documents, the world's most complete collection of scholarly content in the physical sciences. All are cross-referenced through authors, citations, subjects, and astronomical objects. Abstracts and the texts of major astronomy and physics journals are fully indexed and searchable through an easy to use interface that facilitates access for the professional and non-professional alike.

Integrated in its databases, the ADS provides access and pointers to a wealth of external resources, including electronic articles, data catalogs and archives. We currently link out to over 10 million resources maintained by our collaborators.

Earth is tiny out there...it's inconsequential... We’re living on a tiny little dust mote in left field on a rather insignificant galaxy. Basically, this is it for humans. It strikes me that it’s a shame that we’re squabbling over oil and borders. — Bill Anders
