Revision as of 22:03, 12 June 2018
- The troposphere contains roughly 80% of the mass of Earth's atmosphere
- About 80% of the atmosphere is within 10 miles (16 km) of the surface of the Earth, depending on the latitude of the measurement
- Driving up, as if in a car at 60 mph, will bring us to the limits of Earth tropospheric atmosphere in approximately 10 to 12 minutes
