Viet Nam's National Climate Change Adaptation Plan (NAP) for 2021-2030 aims to reduce vulnerability and enhance resilience against climate change impacts, with a vision extending to 2050. The plan includes specific tasks for various sectors to address climate risks and integrate adaptation strategies into national policies.

Viet Nam has a coastline stretching more than 3,260km. Its many low-lying cities make it among the countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and sea level rise. To combat the increasing effects of climate change, it has updated its National Adaptation Plan (NAP) for 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, grounding it in current climate change policies.
