Community Services Department Offers New Growth and Development Opportunities for Raleigh Citizens
The City of Raleigh Community Services Department has launched a new program designed to give Raleigh citizens the opportunity to build on and develop civic leadership skills. The Citizen’s Participation Leadership Institute (CPLI) will offer an educational program designed to enhance the leadership potential and talents of individuals who wish to grow stronger in their civic engagement with Raleigh’s municipal government.
This educational series will be offered in the evenings during the Spring and Fall. A light dinner will be provided prior to the start of each class. Interested persons will need to fill out and submit an application to the Community Services Department. Space in the CPLI is limited to 25 people, and applications will be accepted to create a diverse student population from as many Raleigh neighborhoods as possible.
If you would be interested in finding out more about this program, please call the Community Services Department at 831-6100 and give us your name and contact information. We will be glad to put you on our mailing list and provide you with more information.
