Our mission is to promote communication and dispute resolution through various techniques such as mediation, facilitation, training, presentations, referrals, consumer awareness, and education with the Boulder Community.
The city of Boulder Children, Youth and Family Mediation Program provide a variety of services to residents, students, and schools in the city of Boulder. We facilitate communication between parties who are in negotiation or conflict, we help people come together to communicate effectively, generate options and solutions that work for all parties. We are dedicated to assisting children, youth and families by providing the following services in English and Spanish:
- Mediation including: What is Mediation, Parent-Teen/Family, Teen-Teen
- Restorative Justice Mediation for Juveniles
- Resources & Referrals
- Life Skills Classes
- Facilitation
- Classroom presentations for youth in Boulder schools: Increasing Communication Skills, the Mediation Process, Restorative Justice Principles and Decision Making.
