* Are you 14 - 21 years old?
* Do you have professional goals?
* Do you like to be in the outdoors?

If you answered "YES" to these questions, you can apply for The Clackamas County Environmental Youth Corps program!

What is CCEYC?
The Clackamas County Environmental Youth Corps (CCEYC) is a program that offers training and environmental education to youth. Youth work on crews of 10 youth plus two adult Crew Leaders. Restoration Crews and Adapted Restoration Crews work year-round. Construction Crews operate only in the summer. Youth receive a stipend and college credits for all training time.

The scope of the training project differs between crews, but the mission, "to provide meaningful, environmentally focused career training," remains the same.

Who Can Apply?
Almost any youth can apply. You just need to:

  • Live in Clackamas County
  • Be between 14–21 years old
  • Be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
  • Have a goal and a reason for wanting to learn about the outdoors.

Why Apply?
CCEYC is a great way to gain career development training, earn college credit, meet new people, and train in the outdoors. Also, CCEYC will teach you about the environment in a way that will help you throughout your life. You will learn goal-setting, team-building, and time management skills. Plus, with hands on training plus career development skills like job searching, cover letter and resumé writing, and practice with interview skills, you gain the opportunity to finish CCEYC with the work experience and recommendation you need to find another job!
