Here at GreenPolicy360, there is a thought that comes 'n goes about the beginnings, the ancient beginnings, south of the Great Rift Valley in the old world when all was green.
The ancient peoples called it Zambezi world.
Today it's called south of the Zambezi.... in the San world of the indigenous people, the aborigine, the wanderers in the desert.
The savannas that are left are in the north, most of the vast green plains with millions of wild animals are long gone, the trees that used to call to us are mostly gone, the rains in African, where the ancient San people live have faded away as the few wandering tribes carry their water in birds egg protected in carefully woven baskets.
The world is harsh but the memories are rich in their telling... of lush times, good times when the grass was green, and life was everywhere...
It was an eco world, that's what the people called it, south of the Zambezi and in all directions, it was a green eco world.
And times were good.
