Some of my friends might know about my green work in the 70s and 80s and some of my friends probably don't know about my friend Rob, Bird Legs, Coughlan and the beginning of the Surfrider Foundation, which now is doing Enviroaction around the world.

The start up of the Surfiders was in Malibu, near my place there, but it was in Humboldt County in Northern Calif, near Arcata and Crescent City that the surfers got going w the first lawsuit to protect the water, a precedent and a green-blue model that set in motion some 30 yrs of environmental action -- this isn't Sean Penn's Spicoli but Sean is involved.... greens everywhere ;-
