Intro.... Our family went to the beach

We took off our shoes and we ran to the ocean's edge... the waves kind of come in and as they wash out we feel ourselves sinking as the sand beneath us is getting wet and at the same time we're looking out to the horizon line and it doesn't seem like much changes... Marine scientists call this area that is sometimes above water and sometimes below water "the intertidal zone"... In many ways that is where we are right now.... we're in an "intertidal moment". You feel like everything, in some ways, is the same... you're still you... but there's a shift.....
